Mint — I've owned this 4 speed 2 door with A/C gas miser since November 1985 and I don't plan on unloading it any time soon. Great 2nd car that's reliable & economical. Toyota should bring it back with a 3 cylinder 1.0 liter engine this time. A cool looking design & great A/C, this is my 2nd 1980 Tercel & my first was purchased brand new for $5,206.31 in late 1979. It was a 5 speed deluxe model with factory A/C. Primary Use: Family transportation |

Good Basic Transportation — This car was a new model in US in 1980. It was my first new car. I bought it because my dad had kittens when I announced I wanted to buy a motorcycle (BMW). I was looking for a Corolla Wagon, but ended up with the Tercel. It was an economical, reliable car for the two years I drove it. |
