I Love My 1980 Civic 1300 Hatchback — My 1980 Civic has 59K original miles and it still looks great and runs great. The 4spd manual has an extremely low 1st gear and the 12in rims help a ton for the low end torque. The 1335 cc motor is really peppy and the handling is superb. I can get the inside back tire off of the ground on real hard turns at high speed. Primary Use: Family transportation |

1980 Honda Civic Hatchback — I bought this "beater" for the sole purpose of commuting between the train station & work. I wouldn't care if someone would be stupid enough to want to steal it while it was parked at the station all weekend long. * Performance - all sucks! * Build Quality - it's a Honda! it had over 150k mi. and was still chugging along... * Appearance - ugliest car I've ever owned... but I bought it for the purpose of "beating up" on it * Cost of Ownership - excellent gas mileage! * Fun Factor - HELL NO! Primary Use: Commuting to work |
