ProsStrong engine and drive train. Interior was accomodating, but sporty. ConsHad to pass it down to my sister.

Great First Car, But Nothing Special. — This was my first car in the world and my parents bought it for me when I turned 16.5 years old. It had bucket seats and a sweeping center console. The exterior lines were flowing and curvy like it could cut through water. I always admired the Z28 model of the same year, but this one didn't have the tail fin or the fender flares - it was pretty basic. It had a small V8 (I think it was a 305) with nice power, but not enough to boast about. It took me all of 3 months before I started tearing it apart to find out how it all fit together. I enjoyed this vehicle and hated to see it passed down to my sister, but I got something better out of the deal - another, more attractive and faster Camaro. Joels Z28 — barely needs repairs, paint is original, this car is amazing to drive to beat those imports to the ground. It can do 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, braking system is front discs and rear drums and it handles nice with my new tires on her. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
