_2_@_2_@ — i love all of the possibility's my small block chevy has.patrs are cheap. it can easily throw your head back in the seat with the edelbrock high rise manifold and car. peeling out has never been easier. And with 12 inch subs and a 750 watt amp you can blow out your ear drums with style. one thing that i really need to improve though.... the horn sounds so small like a moped :( |

ProsAmerican muscle, 350, 4 speed ConsStarting to rust on rear quarters

All Original, Less Than 80,000 Miles, 350, 4 Speed, Posi, Dual Exhaust. Life Is Good — Well, what can I say. My car is all original, minus the headers my dad installed in 1980, lol. She's got a 350, 4 speed, posi, and duals. Sounds gorgeous, performs well. Very solid, just starting to develope rust along the rear quarters. Also the interior is faded and the headliner is falling. She needs a restoration. She's been in my family since 1980, my mom bought it from the original owner. The car lived most of its life in the back corner of a dirt floored pole shed with a car cover on her, surrounded by farm equiptment. Only recently have we pulled her out. before registering it in '02, she still had '91 tabs on her custom license plates. After a detailed washing and waxing, the original paint still gleamed, minus the rust I mentioned earlier. A good tune up and carbeurator rebuild and she's road worthy now, recieving roughly 300 miles during the summer, then retiring to the back of our concrete floored shed for winter. |

ProsIts in pretty decent shape, theres no major rust anywere, and its already set up for a standard wich would make the conversion back to standard easy Consim having transmission problems, blown rear shock, and no tech passable battery mount, and no decent tires

This Is My Camaro And It Is In The Middle Of Being Restored — This is my 1979 camaro Z28, it has a 305 ci sbc, and about 300 hp and foot pounds of torque, it has some cragar ss rims (not on yet, i need som bfg rubber for them), and it has a th350. Im hoping to put a 327 and a 4 speed saginaw in it when i have the money |

My Baby — Since I was a kid, when that 79 Z28 rolled around my neighborhood I always said that was the car I will get! Muscle car? Maybe not true muscle but alot of potential to be! Just the body shape and design..........just look at one from the front at a nice low bend(excellent). I have a Z28 with a mild built engine, compcams 280,performer manifold, holley 600,true duel exhaust,2200 rpm converter on t-350. It has plenty of street power and a real head turner! Been off road because of strict emission law,but now that its exempt gotta get back out there! Had many people stop at house wanting to buy, almost sold last summer but my son (10) would not let me as of my own heart! Keep them as all classic muscle cars on the road! Its up to people like us to keep them around for many more years! Buy them....Enjoy them.......Save them from the compactor! Owner for 18 years, 0 months |
