Pros

The handling, the feeling of driving a real quality car, the looks, the comfort compared to other similar cars of the era.

Cons

I can't imagine what that would be.

The Car Love Om My Life. I Still Miss Her ;) — 90 hp wasn't quite enough, but the lack in brawn was compensated by superb handling. This car is so much fun to drive. Driving fast in winter conditions was a bit tricky at first because of the divided rear axle. It made the car a bit unreliable compared to others with stiff rear axles. It took me some time to figure the car out, but once I got used to how the car reacted in slippery conditions I could really start to have some major fun. I remember that driving my parents new 1988 Saab 900i over cracks in the road resulted in ratteling and jingeling. Driving my 1977 Beemer over the same cracks only resulted in muffled thumps from the suspension. That's quality!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Cons

320i — not much work done to this specific car, needless to say i was in love even before driving it, but the feel of driving it is priceless. 4 speed transmission is super fun, and old school one sided mirror adds some quirk. takes turns incredibly, still hate that i don't see it out my window.

A Solid Car For Long Term Use. Beware Of Depreciation! By 2000BoxsterS

This Car Is "ok", But Not The Bmw I Would Want By luvalo

See each of the pros/cons. BMW makes a very good car, but I would not buy/lease the 3, nor the 4 Series, again. If you want a BMW sport, the 1 & 2 Series are best for that. If you want Luxury, t... Read More

It's The Honda Accord Of Our Age By Aaron

It's a perfectly reasonable car. Goes fast when you want it too, uses less gas when you want that. Back seat is big enough so the kids don't complain. Just wish it were a bit less bland. I used to... Read More
