1973 Mach 1 Mustang - 4-spd — I have always loved the fastback look and long hood on the early 70 Mustangs, my opportunity came up to buy one at a car show so I made the deal. It is a 4-spd 351C with all power options. This car is in show condition and runs like a charm. I just cant say what it is that I dont like. It has great looks but I just dont think its for me. Its Bermuda Blue with Argent silver accent |

1973 Ford Mustang Convertible — The 1973 Mustang was the last of the "classic" Mustangs, and the last Ford convertible for many years. This Mustang is white, with the Ginger interior and 250cid, 6-cylinder engine. In 1973, this engine produced about 88 horsepower, not a lot of ponies in this Mustang, but the payoff is close to 20mpg! |

ProsBig car, good looks. ConsNot enough power from the factory.

I Like The Car But If Between A Rock And The Hard Place It Would Be Easy To Send This One Away. — In 1973 these cars were low compression and as a result low on power. It is a fun reliable car to drive. Your experience behind the wheel is looking over a huge hood and no rear view window to speak of. On the road it rubles along and is an about average ride for a muscle car of that era. |

ProsFast, comfortable, nice looking car. ConsMaintenance nightmare.

Luxury Street Rod Anyone? — Supposed to be the 'luxury' version of the Mustang. The 302 is still a great engine to upgrade and I see these cars are beginning to get attention on Jackson Barrett and other auctions because for the most part they weren't owned by kids so they didn't get beat on or modified. Clean originals are out there but rare, since the rest of them got crushed at the end of their useful lives instead of being turned into street rods. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Great Car — Loved the car, Old and kinda rough lookin but it was great. had lots of power, was very fast and handled like a dream. Repair costs were cheap since it was so old but it was still very reliable. It got roughly 5-7 Mpg. it needed basic repairs nothing too major. All in all Was VERY fun to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Good Performance Car — This Mustang has a power plant transplant. The 351 Cu In Cleveland was replaced with a 429 Cu In. The performance of this car was exceptional. The car's styling always turned heads. The large engine completely filled the engine bay and heat related problems due to lack of fresh air ventilation plagued the electrical engine management systems. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Great Toy!! — It still handles like if we were in 1973. Wherever I go with my son I always get thumbs up. Even the local police (CA) gets next to me to let me know that I have a great vehicle. Amen!! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Bring Your Ricers — this car was originally bought as a fixer upper. the paint is nothing fancy and has been painted flat black on the bottom half due to bad paint. this car is an absolute blast to drive, a real headturner, and really really loud. extremely fast although the speedometer does not work. it has been turned into a fun car, it is not show quality condition body wise, but the drivetrain modifications are vast and extensive. it runs absolutely amazing when tuned correctly, but the carb seems to be streaky at times Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

It's Mine Dont Touch — its a ford, i love it, wish i had the title already so i can drive it. but she's a beast, with 302 roller motor, that will turn the rear wheels like a knife through butter. and purs like a kitten Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsPick up women Consit had a lot of rust

Women Love Mustangs — I loved the roar of my 351 Cleveland, it had headman headers, and custom 2.5 " exhaust with an x-pipe, and bullet race mufflers. I also had 3:55 gears put in the car. Dam she sounded sweet! The car was all rusted out, it was a 15 footer otherwise overall value would have been a 5. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
