Porsche — excellent handling with mid engine. low to the ground, performance after market exaust, rebuilt sideshift tranny, converted from rear shifting pattern. rebuilt 4cyl, need to check. FUN to drive, quick and like an overgrown go cart. Yellow hardtop convertable, 6speed.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Great to look at, Good handling, very customizable, Good reliability even if you get a not as good car, Good price for a used car, a little rare, is a targa convertible, cargo capacity is good if you have the roof up, seats are comfy, good ride, comes with a authentic manual, fun manual transmission, cool and good quality stereo, air condition is good, heat is even better.

Cons

If you don't get one in "mint" condition the battery and some gauges might be a little broken, No back seats, not very safe no air bags, Not very good cargo capacity if you have the roof in the trunk (no space there for now), no automatic transmission.

The Fun, Forgotten, Posche — When I got the car it was a beautiful car, with nice seats, and it came with an authentic car manual, and the guy knew a place called Auto Atlanta and the car also came with a huge catalog with options that Porsche no longer sold. The car is quick, and usually turns heads, and the manual transmission had never bogged down on me. High RPM, and I love the original 1970's Porsche steering wheel. It is very customizable, and you can do a lot of things with the car. But, because it was old, had some problems. The gas gauge was broken, and I only had a small light to tell me I had a few miles left. I remember something coming off of the car, but it was not anything important, and was easily fixed. Also the battery and gas tank had a problem. And the car has no air bags. Some more Pro's though were the suspension that is mildly hard for racing, but not to hard that it'll break your back. The stereo is good, but nothing like subwoofer's breaking the cars front window or anything (which I'm glad). The heating and Air con is very nice, and the heating is very good, it heats up the car quickly. And once I got all the problems fixed, I found the gas mileage was as good as a Volvo XC90. The car is also very fun! GREAT CAR!!!

Beautiful Porshe 914 By pensrollei

I like everything about this car. It turns more heads than a 911 because there are so many of them in 40+ years of production. The 1.8 engine is fair and I can always put a 6 cyl. in it. Easy to wo... Read More
