The Most Solid Car From Gm I Have Ever Owned. — I was the second owner of a 72 Conv. It was a strong car, a smooth car, solid and dependable. If it broke it was fixable. The looks were amazing, simple but stylish. I would drive mine under a full moon with all of the dash lights turned low and it was like driving in a black hole. I am looking for one today to replace that one.

I Would Buy It If I Was Looking For This Project, Well Worth It. — This car is a great buy for someone looking to restore. Has great value for oringinal parts if you are a parts person. Car has not been garaged and needs paint. Car runs very smoothly and would be worth fixing. 400 motor. Interior worn, some minor rips. Exterior looks good at different angles, needs minor body work on left door from a scrape and run. Handles very well.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros

Love the retractable hard top and pull out king cab

Cons

the bluetooth hook up doesn't work with my Nokia 7900

I Wish It Had A Little More Body Roll — It has more room than in my golf cart, but the golf cart is better made, has better looks and pulls in more women. I got this car for the paint color. I painted my house the same color and used the car as a paint chip for the paint store to match.

Cons

not enough styling, VERY rust prone.

The 1972 Chevrolet Impala Convertible — My 1972 Chevrolet Impala convertible was a nice car. 350, auto, power steering and brakes, tilt, cruise, aluminum rims. that was a nice car to have. It rode nice, handled nice. the bottoms of them rust out like no other though. Luckly they make the replacement 1/4 panels. If you love muscle car styling with a little more comfort and with power a early 70's Impala is the way to go.

My First Car — acceleration was great, could fit 6 people, mileage was 25 on the hwy. More than fun to drive! Wish I still had it!!! Mine was a 4-door, black vinyl top, sort-of grey/green w/black interior. AWESOME CAR! I bought it used in 1982 for $1000. It was loaded and drove like a DREAM!!

I Love My Imp — This is the best car I have ever ridden in she drives so smooth you dont even feel her shift. We bought her off eBay and i'l tell you she is the best vehicle we have ever bought and I wouldn't trade her for anything, but my dad wants an impala convertible so we are in the processes of restoring her originality and we have her up for sale, but I will tell you she is my favorite daily driver and I love her and my kids love her!
