Pros

It's loud, fast and looks awesome.

Cons

I can't drive it to work every day!

Stingray — I love everything about this car, the styling, the performance and the busted knuckles I've gotten working on it. It's American! It'll last forever and it's faster than most ALL cars out there, especially Mustangs! It fits me like a glove, drives like it's on rails and is faster than Mustangs. Did I say it was fast?

Fun to drive -- But you really have to drive the old ones to know what I mean!

Cons

Cost of keeping it going......

Old School — This is great week-end fun car, not a good car for long trips. I get a lot of thumbs up with this one because of the old school look and the sound and power of the fastburn 385 crate motor.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Stunning looks.  Last of the chrome bumper cars.  Turns heads everywhere it goes.

Cons

Doesn't get great gas mileage.  12 mpg, but you sure get attention getting there.

My First Corvette — I bought this car when I turned 25 and my insurance rates dropped. Planned to keep it a couple of years. 41 years later, I STILL HAVE IT, and I've bought 12 more since - plus the 2014 C-7 I have on order.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great!!!!!!! — Get one they are great!! i have owned the car since 1992 and it has served as a on and off project in the past years. It has helped me make numerous friends and win numerous car shows. I would recommend this car to any one looking to purchase a older corvette.

Best Summer Enjoyment Ever Made By Gm — 350/370 hp, TH400, ragtop, tell me whats not to like? The looks I get when I am cruising. Man, this car rocks! I know the tech aspect isnt what a new Vette is, but I do most all work myself. can you say that about your 2002?

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Cons

only if you have bad taste in cars

72 Corvette Convertible — Amazing car so far. So glad I got a 4 speed, way more fun! Near perfect condition. Needs to be painted black and side pipes are in the future. 350 small block leaves you wanting more power ... but that will come.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Fun On Wheels — Happiness is a red Corvette, and the sun will shine wherever you are... No place for luggage, lousy milage per gallon, terrible tireware(hmm might be caused by driver), handeling on track like a babystroller with a flat tire, but still; the most fun I´ve ever had on four wheels!!

Cons

I hate the condition that it is currently in.

A Project In Progress — I love the overall look of this car, but as you can see, it is far from road worthy. I just recently purchased an engine for it and will probably be bringing it out to school in the near future to start the restoration.
