Pros

It's an eye-catching fun car! The hood seems to go on forever when your sitting in the drivers seat and the windshield has a very sleek sweep to it.  The engine compartment has plenty room to work, and simplicity is the word when compaired to todays engines.  It always starts up immediately, and during accerlation, provides smooth power without hesitation. The power brakes (disk in front, drums in rear) are fantastic and provide solid braking. It's a really nice 40 year old Mustang and runs like a top!

Cons

It only gets around 18 mpg, which was common in the 70's but a definate disadvantage now.  Lead additive and octane booster is thrown into the tank prior to filling up with premium.  It has the orig AM radio, with a single speaker in the upper console, a real bummer if you don't like talk radio.  It has a few small paint chips/scratches,

A Little Piece Of The 70's — It's been a family car for 40 years and the top has been down about 80% of that time. It's always been very reliable, easy to maintain and a pleasure to drive. It has plenty of get-up-and-go, and can stop on a dime. Not much more I can add to that.

Mustang Boss — The accleration of this car is amazing compare with another muscle car in that era. 0-60 mph under 6 second, is one big achievement for car that weight between 2500-3500 lbs. 428 cu in engine just make the driver to scream out.

Keeping The Dream Alive — I just love everthing about my Mustang. Asome 70 muscle car. AGGHHHHH the good old days..... I have always wanted one of these cars since I saw one brand new in 1971. It took me 36 years to get one and Oh boy was it worth the wait. Not as good a drive as I imagined when I was 12, but back then anything would have been great. Just to have the privalige of owning a little bit of history is fantastic.

Pros

Its a Mustang and it sounds awesome!  It also has power-steering and an incredible sound system.

Cons

The paint is starting to crack off in some places, the dashboard was sprypainted white, the suspention in the frount right squweeks, the whindows leak, none of the vackume hoses are hooked up, so the engine is guttles, the radiator leaks, well everything leaks.  So ya.

The Amazing P.o.s — The acceleration sucks, the brakes are great, it handles just fine. I had to replace the blinker mechanism. But otherwise I have not done much. It needs a lot of work. Its a standard coupe with a spoiler on the back. It lousy on gas and all of other liquids to. It is the most fun I have ever had in a car!
