Blast From The Past — Without a doubt, the 1969/1970 era of Mach I and Boss's will never be seen, nor matched again. This Pony stays in my garage and will be an even rarer breed in years to come. I'll let my four boys sort it out when I'm gone!

Grate power, good looking car, gear sound it's amazing

Cons

poor stability, bit roomy backseats, if you don't like noisy cars this is not for you.

Great American Muscle Car, For A Reasonable Price — Great looking car, great gear sound. You need to get some bucks if you wan't to mantaing a good looking Mustang over the years. Mustang 1970 is a unique pice of work from Larry Shinoda, for me is one of the best looking mustang of history, nowadays there's not a lot of this cars out there.

Pros

Fast, looks good just parked, never been beat in my class, great resale value, aluminum heads and block, steel crank, TRW 13.5-1 high domed pistons, Hurst Competition Plus 4-speed shifter, drag-pack, dual points, Holley 1050 Dominator carb, solid lifters, high-lift cam

Cons

Passes everything but a gas station! Small for family, but my kids love riding in it. Runs hot except in high-altitudes such as Colorado.

"the Boss" — Just riding around, everybody and their Mother ants to race. Youngsters think they all have fast cars these days, but the fast cars we're built from the "Muscle Car" era. This one is at the end of that era. It runs a 10.03 all day long and it can do better if I change the diamond-tip points every 2-3 runs.

Pros

It is a nice car to drive, it really turns heads and i've had lots of people ask if it is and 05 or newer. Any TLC is very cheap, and didn't take long.

Cons

The MPG is very low, the TLC seems to be almost every weekend.

It Is A Very Good Looking Car, It Turns Heads Almost Anywhere, And The Coupe Version Is Very Rare. — I like the car because most of the people i hang around with enjoy the look of the car, the looks we get from others, and the way it sounds, i also enjoy all of that as well. The car will run just as good as a newer mustang with a roar at idle instead of a pur.

Oh My God I Loved This Car — This Car Was As Close To Perfect As I Have Ever Driven... It Had Amazing Handling, Awesome Power, And A Sound That Would Easily Make A Grown Man Cry. I Loved It... Sadly I Do Not Own It For It Is My Uncles, I Will Never Get It But I Can Always Ask To Drive It Over And Over Again

Awesome! — So my dad and I bought this 1970 Mustang and it is awesome. It came with a small block V-8 and Bridgestone racing tires.

Pros

Looks great. There's a V8 packed in that engine bay. It's a FORD. Sounds pretty good with single exhaust. Doesn't like going slow.

Cons

Small hesitation in the low end (0-25 MPH). Doesn't have dual Flowmaster Super 44s (in the process).

M U S T A N G — The Mustang is a fantastic car. Always screaming for personal originality, the mustang is an open (beautiful) canvas waiting for the individual to paint a masterpiece. I am a lucky owner. The small block 302 is ready for high revving action. The stock 2V is always ready for upgrading. She handles pretty good, but keep in mind, it is a 39 year old car. Braking is standard for drum brakes. It's a Mustang...I'd say it looks pretty good. Gas mileage.....lol. Actually, it isn't to bad (I'm thinking around 15 mpg). Heck of a car to drive!

My 1970 Mach 1 — The Mach has a ford 347 stroker with a 6 speed gear vendors overdrive. The paint is ford ultra blue and it has black leather interior. The car doesnt just look good though. it sounds amazing and is a blast to drive!

Cons

the fule economy could be better

1970 Mustang- A Trail Horse For The Ages — Performance- very good- strong pull in 1st gear to 4800 rpm, shifts into 2nd at 55 mph, and covers the 1/4 mile in15 sec. This is a bone stock cast iron Windsor, with high flow intake and headers / H pipe for exhaust. Build quality- built in Feb 1970 in Methuen NJ, it is typical of "Detroit quality" for the era... mediocre at best, but anvil tough design and materials. Appearance- good straight rust-free condition, but needs fresh paint and some door dings removed. Interior immaculate, eat off the "show-car custom" engine. Exterior styiling? This was the last Ford car designed by Larry Shinoda, who penned the immortal 1963 Corvette split window coupe.' Nuff said. Cost of ownership- dirt cheap for the fun factor, plus the car has increased in value by 15% since bought in 2008. Fun factor- booming exhaust note and bags of low end torque make it priceless; my 1st car in high school was a 1970 coupe purchased in 1972 for under $2500. (I have $13K in the "new" one).

Rates Up With My Favorite Car As This Car Was The First I Ever Owned — I bought this car while I was in the Army. It was my first car and looking back I couldn't have chosen a finer car. Now owned by a very smart guy who wouldn't sell this back for any amount, jerk. I only regret that I don't still own this beauty as it is so extremely valuable today. This car would cost you today in even just reasonable shape from $50k and way up from there depending on a lot of factors. In mint condition, all matching numbers this car can be in the $250k range at Barrett Jackson Auto Auctions AZ. everything is matching.
