Slow sales of the 1969 Chevy Camaro resulted in some of those vehicles being retagged as 1970 models. The true 1970 Camaros were introduced later in the year and are sometimes referred to as the 1970 1/2 Camaro.
Visually, there was a huge difference in styling between the 1969 and 1970 versions. The newer model had a slicker roofline, a new grill, and smoother, european-like lines. They were longer and lower and the convertible was no longer
available.
The Z28 was a hard-to-find treasure, with only about 8700 produced. The Z28 was very fast and easy to handle with a 350-ci engine about to do the quarter mile in 14.5 seconds.
