The Most Unusual Car For People Who Enjoy The Unusual — For a car introduced in 1960 as an economical alternative to what Detriot was producing at the time, the Corvair was very advanced and unlike anything anyone had ever seen before. Rear engined, air cooled horizontal 6 with four wheel independent suspension and seating for 6. 1965 saw a restyle with an updated suspension and pony car feel. Advanced European design and handling - Praised by car magazines and driving enthusiasts of the day. The car was expensive to produce and did not have the capacity to race in the horsepower wars of the late 1960's so the car suffered an undeserved death in May of 1969. This car is guaranteed to put a smile on anybody's face, is fun to drive, cheap to own and repair and creates crowds at every gas stop. When was the last time you saw one? Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Most Awesome Car Ever By Staush
The car is a rear motor rear wheel drive. It could potentially handle amazing if you redid the steering and maybe put some sandbags in the front. the acceleration is pretty good for a 120hp motor with... Read More
