Its fun, cool, parts are easy to come by,and it's a FORD!!!

Cons

Like all pony and muscle cars...it's a cop magnet

The Legend! — Its a Mustang,Ford really knew what they were doing when they created this american classic! The style is superb in all forms, they preform well, the cost of ownership isn't bad if you don't mind giving up a few extra bucks at the pump, just to look cool...However the engines can be tempermental if they haven't been properly maintained/rebuilt...the car is EXTREMELY FUN! You will always be challenged to a stop light drag race...they can get you and other drivers in trouble!!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

A Must Have For Anyone Looking For A Wonderful Driving Experience. — The overall performance of my car is decent for its age. It's braking is lower quality due to its drum brakes, but it still manages to stop fairly well. It is a sleek car with flowing lines and timeless styling.

This Is American Muscle At It's Finest — This is one of the first cars I ever owned. I had a coupe as a kid and when this one came available I jumped on it. There are not too many people wanting to start a on a project car these days. I knew that this one would be worth every penny. I am also doing as much of the work as possible with my sons. We recently purchased a 67 coupe as well and my older son will work on that one during the day when he is not in school. I can wait to see them finished.

My mustang is awesome.

Cons

Burning Rubber

Eat My Dust. — Car get 18mpg in the city and 24 on highway. its a boss 302 with domed pistons going into 289heads with an isky cam/springs and lifters. 4brl 650 carb. lots of horse power. Many repairs have been done, engine rebuild, shock tower, suspension all around, wiring harness. Its a very nice looking car, charcole in colour. with all the vibe from the 60's. Parts are generally expensive for the car. The car is very fun to drive if you like making lots of noise and burning rubber.

It's quite rare and helps you stand out in a sea of 'Stangs.

Cons

It will leave you wanting the performance that modern cars have made you grown accustom to.

Gt/cs, From West To East Coast — As any review is subjective I'll try to curb my bias. When it comes to performance it will leave you wanting for more in all categories. It is still more exciting to drive than a modern econobox probably due to the sense of raw communication with what is going on around you. It is a semi- reliable vehicle with a slew of aftermarket parts to keep the cost of ownership down. Having a vehicle with a production number just over 4,000 you're almost guaranteed to be the only one around with one.

Pros

Love the sound, the look, and the feel driving this car. Thumbs up all the time.

Cons

I hate that I can't drive the car all the time, every day.

Love It! — Excellent cruising car, car shows, go for ice cream with the family even if it's an hour away. Excellent reliability. Very easy to do maintenance work on, Lots of leg room in the front seats, because it's a GT it has extra sway bars and stiffer springs so it has great handling and with disc brakes it stops great also.

It brings a smile to your face every time you drive it

Cons

You may kill yourself in the wet

It Has A Certain X Factor To It Which Most Cars Do Not — This is my daily drive, and I love it. It sucks petrol but the fact that it is so old means I can justify it from an environmental point of view. Watch out when it's raining it can be a bit dangerous in the wet!

It Is An American Icon Car — I am in the process of restoring this 68 fast back gt. I am not going to put the 390 big block back in the car but a 351 windsor stroked out to 408 cubic inches it also will have edlebrock fuel injection and a zex wet kit
