Pros

Looks, Performance, family owned since 1969

Cons

not drivable yet, restoration not finished

Father Son Project — This car is in the middle of a restoration. It was originally my dads car from the 70s. He performed all the mods it currently has. It has an original 390 BB with 42,000 miles and a 4spd tranny in addition to 15 in wide hoosier stock car tires, crager 22 rims, custom sidepipe exhaust, dual holley 650 cfm carbs, ford performance mid rise manifold, rally pac guages, additional taillights, custom fender flares, 8 point roll cage. I also plan on adding my own touches. Shaved door handles, tight gaps, modern audio system, billet grill and a few other things. performance wise total rebuild on the engine, port and polish the heads, blueprint, aluminum driveshaft, chassis stiffeners, disc brakes all around, mustang II front suspension.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Its An Awesome Car, But Its An Endless Money Pit! — hands down fords most popular car, it has a lot of power and is a head turner! it has a 302 with a 4 barrel carborater which pushes proximately 315 horsepower. when you stomp it, she goes and she goes LOUD!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Take-off

Cons

needs body work

Christina — She is very fast. The speedometer only goes to 120 but I could feel her accelerate strong long after I passed 120. I put a street racing suspension kit on her so she handles great. I built a custom 302 with an edelbrock performer alum intake manifold and performer 4bbl carb. chrome everywhere. Flamethrower ignition coil. custom dual exhaust with dual flowmasters and chrome fiber glass packed resin tips produce a deep roar. One of my favorite things about this car is when I start her up in a parking garage she sets off the alarms of all the cars around her.

'67 Stang — Amazing car! It makes driving so much more exciting. Looks sharp and is very classy. Very sturdy and durable. Hasn't needed any interior repairs all these years. I love this car and enjoy showing it off around town with my friends.

Pros

Everything!

Cons

NO AC!!

My First Car — Bought her in 83. This was a great car. Too much power for a 16 year old and can't believe I didn't kill anyone! Completely restored her in 89 and gave her up in 94. She is missed. That is that.

Pros

ENGINE, IT'S A MUSTANG

Cons

Transmission, body

35

My Stanger — It's got a lot of Body work, and the Transmission doesn't go into reverse. I love the way the engine runs. It's got a 289 Holley 4 barrel. Currently not safe to drive. It will go, and it goes fast, but there is a lot of work to be done on it still. It's just parked on the side of my house.

Pros

Looks amazing when clean

Cons

motor doesn't like winter and rattles

35

Best Build From Scratch Car! — I love my car because me and my dad built it together and that means alot to me. I like the performance and the overall look, but there is alot of work that has to be done so that it is perfect. Like that windsheld leaks and there is alot of rattles inside. It needs new suspension in the rear and a good tune up. I hope to retire it and eventually rebuild it one day to make it a show car.
