I owned an exact duplicate of this car, back in 1966. It was Gorgious, rode fine, got good gas milage with a 389/2 bbl. it was bought new by a Service station owner and had been ran at the local Milan, Mi. drag strip. Of course by the time i got it, the racing parts were gone and it was back to a general use driver, with a 3 speed on the floor. Preetiest interiors ever put in a car, by MHO.

Cons

i had to change the rocker arms on a few cylinders, as they started tapping, the brakes would lock up, so always carried a wrench to bleed off the master cyl. With only a 2 bbl carb, she wasn't enough GO-Power.

Loved This Car — wasn't fast enough, should have found a Wrecked GTO, there were 3 major yards in my area, ( Adrian, Mi.) and rebuilt it to what i wanted, with a Posi traction, Now at 62 yrs old, i'm replacing the things i left behind.

Primary Use: Commuting to work
