Pros

A great antique classic 57 Belair with 288 engine, PS, PB, and 3spd Automatic. Rare Desert Sand original color. New interior. Rode a bus all the way to El Paso from Arkansas to buy a rust free car and drove it back.

Cons

A constant project as all antique cars. Needs PS rebuild (leaks) heater repair, Bumpers really need to be re chromed.

My 57 Belair — Love to drive and wave back at everyone. Feels good to finally own one. Becoming more rare. The 57 rides very well and has good acceleration and class, but it loves gas stations. Have considered selling it because I don't drive it enough, but hate dealing with people who try to low ball. It's not worth the trouble.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Can't Go Wrong With A 50's Icon — V8 engine with over 250 HP, including ramjet fuel injection. Build quality is high, makes you feel like a millions bucks. The looks are superb, makes modern cars look bland. It's really fun to drive... it's just a beauty, I love it!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

The Best Car In The World — It's just the BEST Car ever made. I wish that Chevy would have kept Making them. The Appereance is Gorgeous, it handles really well, braking is amazing, you could literally stop on a dime with this car. This is the most fun car to drive . everyone should buy one. Just the best vehicle in the world

Beautiful Peace Of History — I like the color choices for this car. I also like the four door design which makes it easier to get others in and out of the back seat. The car is comfortable to ride in and has plenty of room. It still needs some more work but it looks to be minor fixes. The car accelerates easy and it stops easily when the brake is applied. I feel safe riding in this big car due to the heavy material it is built out of.

One Of The Nicest Unrestored 57 Chevy — Wish I had a 4:56 posi rear because it has 200 r 4 transmission would make it more fun to drive . Would drive it across country without a bit of worry a very dependable car I've owned it for 25 years and will be passed down to my grand kids .

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

50's styling, comforatble, easy to work on.

Cons

it needed alot of work and parts

The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air — Needed a total restoration. Was sitting in storage for many years and was used as parts for another 57 Chevy. But it was my first car. I learned fast. they are interesting cars. they arent as good as the 58's which i have owned one also. On the other hand they are easier to get used to because they are not as big as the 58's. Parts are plentiful and usualy easy to work on.

Great Car! — Great Cruiser from the '50's. Runs as good as it looks, and is a ball to drive. I am not afraid to drive it anywhere as it is extremely reliable. I built this car from 3 cars that were disposed of.
