1949 Humber Super Snipe Review
ProsIt has a ponderous gait and fantastic comfort for the age, and was driven by royalty all over Europe. ConsNot one thing, although it does suck air through the aircleaner and fuel to the engine via the fuel pump.

Humbr Super Snipe Mark Ii — The performance of this car is immaterial, although the motor is virtually unbreakable, it is thirsty as a camel. The acceleration, handling and braking are probably quite camel-like too. It does have a most interesting front end suspension, where the leaf-spring is transverse, holding the wheels on track. It is a huge car, and currently being restored. It is very expensive right now and will get worse. A hat of considerable dignity accentuates the driving experience. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
